The HBA’s Residential Building Permit Reports offer up-to-date information to help builders and associates of the home-building industry make informed decisions important to their business. The following reports are available in both printed and electronic formats:

The Detailed Report ($460 for 12 months)

This monthly report lists every individual permit address and the builder who the permit was issue to. This comprehensive list covers the entire eight-county metropolitan area – Johnson, Miami, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Cass, Clay, Jackson and Platte counties. Permits are divided by county and city.

The Monthly Hot Sheet ($190 per report for 12 months)

This quick-read report lists the top-permitting builders each month along with the top performers year-to-date. Hot Sheets also include year-to-date permits numbers for the top permitting subdivisions in the reporting area. Available reports include: Johnson/Miami; Wyandotte/Leavenworth; Jackson/Cass; and Clay/Platte.

Individual Addresses Report ($200 per report for 12 months)

This monthly listing outlines each builder’s permit addresses in a specific market area. Subscribers can choose from the four following reports: Johnson/Miami; Wyandotte/Leavenworth; Jackson/Cass; and Clay/Platte.

Subdivision Activity Report ($150 per report for 12 months)

This quarterly listing gives each subdivision’s year-to-date permit activity by builder. Reports are available in four areas of the metro: Johnson/Miami; Wyandotte/Leavenworth; Jackson/Cass; and Clay/Platte.

Builder Activity Report ($150 per report for 12 months)

This quarterly report provides a complete listing of each builder’s year-to-date activity by subdivision. Available reports include: Johnson/Miami; Wyandotte/Leavenworth; Jackson/Cass; and Clay/Platte.

The Builders Report ($275 per report)

This comprehensive listing provides the past 12 months of permit activity for every builder in the Kansas City area. Available by request at any time throughout the year, the report includes the names, addresses and phone numbers of all permitting builders in the metro.

Subscription prices reflect HBA member pricing only. All annual subscriptions are for 12 months, provided that HBA membership status is active. Permit reports are non-refundable.
