To all HBA members:

At the present time, several cities in the Greater Kansas City area are considering the adoption of the 2006 International Residential Codes (IRC). The IRC Review Committee has submitted a proposal to these cities concerning changes that we would like them to consider. These may be viewed at our Web site.

To help you understand the changes coming as cities adopt these codes, we have created a list of substantial changes to the 2006 IRC. These listings give you the chapter and section number and a summary of the changes from the 2003 IRC.
