Kansas City, Mo. Council Backs $2.4 Billion Sewer Plan |

Kansas City, Mo., is embarking upon an unprecedented 25-year infrastructure plan to overhaul the City's combined sewer system, costing $2.4 billion in today's dollars. City Council members overwhelming endorsed the Sewer Overflow Control Plan in December in response to the Environmental Protection Agency's mandate the City improve its sewer and storm water systems.
